Welcome to the Sunshine Coast BMX Club.

The Sunshine Coast BMX Club was incorporated in 1988 and we currently have approximately 80 registered members.

BMX racing is a year round sport. Sunshine Coast BMX Club races every Wednesday night during school term, 6.45pm gate drop with training on Tuesday nights every week in school term from 5.30pm

Groups of up to 8 riders compete on the track in each heat. Scores are awarded for finishing positions. Riders under the age of 8 years compete as Sprocket Rockets and are not scored. They are encouraged to enjoy the sport without the pressure of competition.

The Track

Sunshine Coast BMX Club is located in the Yandina Sports Complex, Cooloolabin Road, Yandina.

Volunteer Positions

Up to 18 volunteers are required to run club racing. A monthly roster is done to share the load between all club members so hopeful you might only have to help one night every couple of months and all parents can get a chance to sit and enjoy their kids racing. A new volunteer will not be thrown in the deep end. They will have an experienced person run through the ropes with them and stay with them until they are confident to do that position by themselves. If you can assist please let the volunteer coordinator know and they will put you on the roster.
