The fast expanding country town of Walkerston is situated 11km west of Mackay. The BMX track can be found at McLennan's Park bounded by sugar cane and a scenic creek.

The Club was formed in 1982 and has continued to grow and provide many families with enjoyment. Through the years our members have achieved Queensland, Australian and World ratings.

The surface of our BMX track consists of a mixture of decomposed granite and clay with some asphalt berms.

People choose the sport of BMX for health, fitness, enjoyment and friendship.

We race every Friday night except on school holidays and we average between 30 and 40 riders each night which includes a 4cross mountain bike bracket.

Registration is from 6.00pm til 6.45pm and phone registrations are available.

Racing commences at 7.00pm sharp. Our riders range in age from 4 years old to ... well, let's just say mature age.

Walkerston believes that we provide a friendly, enjoyable and competitive atmosphere for all our riders.
