
BMX Australia are introducing an exciting new series for 11,12 and 13 year old riders wishing to compete against the best BMX Riders in Australia.
The national Dynamite series is an initiative by BMX Australia and the states for riders who compete in their state series and qualify for the National final of the Dynamite series at the 2011 National championships. BMX Australia will be developing this series and in the future will be looking to implement the framework into a series for the 8, 9 and 10 year old riders.
This series will showcase the best riders from all around Australia competing at the nationals for the chance to be BMX Australia National Dynamite series champion and bloods the riders to take the step up into the probikx/champbikx series when they are older.
BMX Australia are exciting about this initiative rewarding talent at the grass roots level with a prizes and medals awarded at the end of the series.
After additional discussion with BMXA and other State associations it has been decided that the Dynamites aged riders will need to race in the 2010 Zone Series in their Zone, their Zone Titles and the 2010 Queensland Championships in Mackay, with the double points round being the respective zone titles.
Riders aged 10,11 and 12 in 2010 who finish in the top 3 in each age group after their zone series 2010 and the Queensland Championships 2010, will then qualify to race at the Dynamite Race at the Australian titles in 2011 as 11, 12, and 13 year old riders.
